China – At the end of March, Longjia released its first 250cc ADV scooter–XDV 250Si, which attracted much attention because of its tough appearance, 18kw high-power engine, 168kg body, the front KYB inverted shock absorber and other quality configurations.

The latest announcement shows that Longjia may soon launch the 150cc version XDV, in the same appearance of the 250 model. It will be equipped with a 150cc water-cooled four-valve engine, with a maximum power of 10.5kW, 13.5N.m of torque, and a curb weight of 156kg.

Other specifications and configurations are basically the same as those on XDV250Si, including SAFE ABS that can be turned off, keyless start, TFT LCD screen, front and back 13-inch tires, etc. However, the front shock absorber is changed to vertical type.

We guess that Longjia is “premeditated”. The 150 version must have been considered while developing the XDV 250Si, because they can share platform resources, and shorten the R&D cycle, save cost, and in the meantime ensure better stability.

This product may be launched onto the market at the end of July this year. It should have a larger price difference from the 250 version. There is no purchase tax for the 150cc product, thus it is more suitable for entry-level users for commuting and short distance travel.
