As the 2024 Dakar Rally came to a successful close, we witnessed a proud chapter in off-road racing history. In this ultimate off-road competition, the Chinese brand CFMOTO not only successfully completed its debut but also secured the fifth position in the QUAD category with an impressive time of 113 hours, 25 minutes, and 50 seconds. This achievement is not only a testament to the superb skills of the CFMOTO team but also a loud proclamation of China’s off-road prowess on an international stage.

In this grueling race that spanned 7,891 kilometers, participants endured 4,727 kilometers of special stages from January 5th to 19th, over 15 days, facing ever-changing terrains and extreme weather conditions. It was a true “hellish ordeal,” pushing every racer to their physical and mental limits.

As the first Chinese brand in the Dakar Rally’s all-terrain vehicle category, CFMOTO displayed astounding strength and resilience. This achievement is no fluke but the culmination of 35 years of relentless off-road R&D and ever-growing capabilities. Their CFORCE1000 was put to the test on the ever-changing landscape of rocks, sand dunes, and canyons, showcasing exceptional off-road performance through over 100 hours of intense competition.

The vehicle’s high performance, passability, and stability were fully proven in what can be described as a “performance inferno” at Dakar. Especially noteworthy was the rider Antanas, who, in his first Dakar Rally, displayed remarkable endurance and skill. Despite facing a tire blowout and limited engine power in the second stage, he bravely pressed on, surging to fifth position in the seventh stage, earning high praise from Dakar officials: “A remarkable performance.”

The 48-hour super marathon stage, with its no-support rule, significantly ramped up the difficulty. Facing a harsh desert environment and complex navigation, Antanas maintained a steady pace until the end. Despite running out of fuel 3.7 kilometers before the finish line and needing rescue, his unwavering spirit shone through in Stage 11, where he continued racing even after his wheel hub was shattered by rocks.

This Dakar journey was not only an extreme test for CFMOTO’s vehicles but also a refinement of the riders’ skills. With their outstanding performance in such a demanding rally, CFMOTO declared China’s off-road strength to the world.
