Wonjan Brixton-D5 Released
China – The first phase of 70,000 square meters plant of Wonjan has been completed and put into operation. When the entire industrial park is completed, Wonjan will be able to produce 300,000 units a year. Among the new factory’s first batch products, the big mini D5, has received a lot of attention.
D5 takes on a wild look. It is powered by a single cylinder air-cooled engine, the second generation TSR150 of Haojue-Suzuki, with a displacement of 149ml, compression ratio of 9.3:1, maximum power of 9.8kW, maximum torque of 11.9N·m, and bore×stroke of 57.3mm×57.8mm. It is matched with a Delphi EFI system and a 5-speed transmission.
D5 has a body size of 1,696mm×785mm×1,005mm, a wheelbase of 1,205mm, a fuel tank capacity of 12.3L, a curb weight of 116kg, a seat height of 760mm, and a 170mm minimum ground clearance, greatly enhancing the passability and playability.
D5 comes with an inverted front fork and a rear central shock absorber. The Cheng Shin pineapple tires (front 120/70-12 and rear 130/70-12) qualifies the D5 for running on the unpaved road. The combination braking system features front three-piston calipers and rear single-piston calipers.
D5 is a unique mini street bike that competes in the market with diversified features.
